Josh took pity on a poor, Igloo-bound, Canadian, and changed it so that
there’s always a predictable place for the build-gnuradio script to
get the latest firmware .tar.gz file. Thanks Josh!

Any chance Josh also changed the script to fix our libboost issues?
The script is authored by me, rather than Josh. But I rely on Josh and
others in this community to “do stuff”.
Some of that “stuff” breaks the build-gnuradio script from time to
time. It can only handle so much
“churn” in its world-view before it breaks.
I don’t know what the libboost issues are on Ubuntu builds. Like I
observed this morning, a GIT download of Gnu Radio as of
this morning results in an entirely clean build on my Fedora 14
system.

The script renames your existing uhd and gnuradio source trees before it
downloads new ones, that’s all.
I just ran build-gnuradio inside my Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64 VM, and I’m
having the same problem that you guys report.
