Oakland’s first Startup Weekend at Impact Hub Oakland and the city of
Oakland as the flagship city for #YesWeCode’s national initiatives.

Following the evening’s honoree (Van Jones) keynote address, there will
be
a panel of leaders from across business, government, and social sectors
discussing the theme for Startup Weekend Oakland, “Building a Silicon
Valley that lives up to Dr. King’s dream”. There will be plenty of
food,
networking opportunities, and a chance to meet the young people who have
been building apps for the weekend before they prepare for their final
pitches on Sunday.
