Writing directly to registers on the FX chip on USRP 1

Hello,

We created a custom board based on the USRP. I’d like to avoid
recompiling the FX (8051) source code if possible. Is there a function
that will allow me to write directly to one of the FX registers? I want
to change the frequency of the CLK output from the default of 12 MHz to
24
MHz.

FWIW, we run the FX2 at 48 MHz after our f/w is loaded.
