For some reason, I can’t get a post onto your forum. I have in the
past, but now they seem to disappear?
Are my posts’ asking questions inappropriate? Is this some type of
mans’ club where women aren’t allowed?

Jeez Kathy, that’s a bit harsh isn’t it. Of course there is an
invisible bot tracing your ip, then snapping a photo of you and using
your facial features to ban you from the Rails mailing list if it
sees you as a woman, what did you expect? sarcasm
Now, back to reality, as far as I know, nor the forum or the mailing
list are moderated in any way, except for google maybe filtering out
a very limited amount of spam (judging by the number of spammers that
still come through).
My advise: create a gmail account and subscribe to the list, I have
never had any problems with it and IMHO it’s better than a forum anyway.

Google flags questionable stuff for moderator approval. This appears
to be a couple posts a week, at max. So far everything I’ve seen has
been a legitimate post, through. Google may have other mechanisms
for blocking spam.

I have seen stuff from you in the past, and fairly recently. I think
that if you have evidence for stuff disappearing you’d need to contact

probably including message IDs if possible, so they can be found in the

Not that I’ve noticed, just they’re outside my knowledge, so I’ve

I’ve noticed no traffic that suggests opposition to women, here.
Given that we can’t organize the banning of known spammers, I’d be
more likely to assume this is some kind of glitch than something
organized.
