Which Tk widget is used to accept user inputs and save them?

Hi all,

Just 2 quick questions:

I plan to write a simple GUI/Tk. 1)I want to get the user inputs which
include text, image, or copy from the clipboard. Which widget is the
best to serve this purpose in Ruby/Tk? 2) After I get the inputs, I
want to write/save them to a folder/file. Which gem/library is best for
this purpose?
