What's in Gtk.init?

Hi guys

I’m trying to use gtk it in my own ruby project. My problem now is
that I got this strange exception: “in init: can not convert false
into String.” My ruby runtime environment is not standard one,
embedded within another program(vim). So I suspect that some global
variable is not assigned to correct object, but I really don’t know
which one. Could somebody provide some help? Maybe just show me the
code in that function, or the location in code base.
