I have been trying out rush - the Ruby shell, but I see it’s a bit
broken right now - there’s no clrtoeol function in Ruby curses!
The author of Rush said thus:
The changes was accepted for the ruby 1.8.3 release, so it shouldn’t
be necessary anymore.
Looking at the Ruby1.9 source code in the Debian repository there’s no
mention of clrtoeol except in view.rb where it’s commented out. Anyone
know what happened to it? The function is listed here:

Also, while I’m asking: anyone know why curses on Win32 is so sad?
Every script I run on Windows which uses curses breaks quite badly.
