Webrick and Mongrel dies suddenly under Windows XP Prof

Hi,

I have a problem that Webrick and even Mongrel suddenly dies.
I’m using both under windows xp prof sp2.

I can’t see anything in the log files.

Any idea?

what means dies suddenly?
they start up fine, are working for certain time, or didnt thy start
correctly?

Exactly what you said. It starts and works for a while and then it
stops working.
No error in the log files!

I updated my Ruby to the newest Version and the problem disapeared!
so now everything works fine…

“How” does it stop? What are the symptoms?

If it’s the old blank screen thing, then this is traced to mysql
timeouts in my setup. Google around a bit on it.
