Want a spring and rails demo

Hi, guys
Where can I find a simple demo of using spring and rails together ?
Spring for service layer and jruby on rails for web layer. I can’t
find
any on jruby.org and google. Maybe we shoule write something about it on
wiki.

If there’s nothing on the wiki now, you might do some googling. I
believe there’s a couple people working on spring/ruby integration right
now. Anyone on the list doing this?

We’re currently migrating the rendering tier of a Java web application
from Struts to Rails. The guts of the Java side are spring &
hibernate. I don’t currently have a “demo”, but I can offer help on
the Spring integration if you need it.

Awhile ago I blogged about running the Spring IOC container in JRuby
in which I also referenced a Spring IOC plugin you can use to access
beans from your ruby code:

I don’t have a demo application but here is a related post of mine
from the mailing lists a long while ago. We’re still using the same
approach very successfully.

Aloha!

Mike McKinney

I created web framework that uses IoC (Spring flavored with JBoss Seam
like bijections) at it’s heart, Rails - like web component for Web
layer.

Here’s article about IoC

The demo is this site itself http://ruby-lang.info , it’s powered with
Rad (my framework)

Oops! That was a link to a different post in the same thread. This one
goes to the right spot.
