There’s only 2 days left to get almost $500.00 worth of software for
only $49. In addition to Pixelmator, CSSEdit and Snaps Pro X they’ve
just added VectorDesigner. It’s a simpler tool than Adobe Illustrator
that I’m going to be using to design logos.
VectorDesigner $69.95
Snapz Pro X $69.00
Pixelmator $59.00
CSSEdit $29.95
AppZapper $12.95
Tiki Magic Mini Golf $29.95
1password $29.95
CoverSutra $22.00
Cha-Ching $40.00
iStopMotion $49.00
Awaken $12.95
Speed Download $25.00
Wingnuts 2 $29.95
TaskPaper $18.95
I know, I know, shoot me for being spammy, but they’re going to raise
over $300,000.00 for charity and we get a bag of useful tools for
cheap. It’s a win-win. There’s more to building a rails app than
just code. If you’ve got a designer working with you then count
yourself lucky, but for those of us who don’t then make life easier on
yourself and have a look at this bundle. Only about 2 days left.
Would have been nice to state that this link (rather than just http://www.macheist.com
) is the one that gets you free stuff.

Hey Frederick, I was going to ask more privately but since you’ve
responded to the MacHeist thread. I just bought the bundle myself a
couple of days ago, and I notice that the author of Speed Download,
one of the included apps has a very familiar name, Is that your piece
of work?
Now to be personally mercenary. I don’t even know if it works since
I’ve already bought the bundle, but if one or two people buy using
this link
I’ll also get one or two more apps. If not no big deal,
But I’d really encourage any mac users who are on the edge, or hasn’t
heard of MacHeist to buy the bundle while it’s available (58 hours
left) it’s a great deal with some great apps like SnapZ Pro (I’m ready
for my Screen casts now Mr. Demille), CSSEdit, and Pixelmator (no
more running the Gimp under X!). It would be really great if enough
more folks bought the bundle to unlock the last app VectorDesigner.
There’s really a lot of useful stuff, particularly for want to mix a
little design into their coding for Rails apps, and it’s generating
quite a bit of money for charity.
look at the latest MacHeist:

Well spotted! Blame me if it doesn’t work

Personally i’ve no issue with pimping links like that, I just thought
it merited a little more disclosure of the fact that it’s effectively
a referral scheme.
