USRP+Matlab

Hi,

I read in tools4sdr.com that they have developed a toolbox for matlab
and
its purpose is to pilot the USRP with windows and matlab. Note that no
processing can be done in real time and that you do not need GNU Radio.

In this first version, it only works with the following daughterboard:

  • RFX2400 (or FLEX 2400)

The daughterboard has to be plugged on the side A of the USRP.

more details in the following link:
http://www.tools4sdr.com/articles/Toolbox+to+interface+the+USRP+(universal+software+radio+peripheral)+with+matlab+and+windows_1678410http://www.tools4sdr.com/articles/Toolbox+to+interface+the+USRP+(universal+software+radio+peripheral)+with+matlab+and+windows_1678410

The question i want ask is that if anyone has seen or found USRP working
along with Matlab without using gnu radio (with other daughtercards like
basic TX RX etc)

Hello,

You don’t need to install GNU Radio to make the toolbox work. It only
works
with the RFX 2400 daughterboard and no extension to other boards is
expected
soon.
