USRP I and USB Hubs

Hi,

for practical reasons (read: out of laziness), I was wondering if the
USRP works just as well over a USB hub as without, and if there are hubs
known to work better than others?
According to the archives, I’ve seen recommendations not to use one, but
no real trouble. Are there any experiences?
