USRP Documentation

Hi,

New USRP Documentation (Whenever I become sick and stay at home, I use
my
time to write some GnuRadio documentation).

I hope from Gnuradio experts to examine this document and send to me a
corrected information especially when the “#FIXME#” is located and this
feedback will be highly appreciated.

The feedback and corrected information will be used to update the
document.

The document can be downloaded from :

http://rapidshare.com/files/121692530/USRP_Documentation.pdf

I hope it is useful.

Best Regards,

Firas

Hello Firas…

GREAT EFFORT !!! You really deserve a big round of applause from the
whole
community !!!
I’m sure many people had this in mind and wanted to do something about
it,
but then you have single-handedly pulled it off !!

I’m sure this is a great initiative - along with all the prev.
documentation
work you did. Like merging the old documents into the codebase, it will
be
great if we can merge this to the Wiki, so that folks around can easily
search around and also update it regularly (easily). I guess it could be
done easily.

I’m sure this will atleast reduce the mailing list traffic !!! ;))

Kudos again…

Regards,

Rakesh

Firas,

This is great documentation, thank you. I think good documentation is
one of GNU Radio’s downfalls.

My only suggestion would be that this type of documentation be put in to
the wiki, a place where others can very easily update and add to it.
It’s also the first thing people go to.

Thank you and all.

I think who really deserve the big round of applause is the GNU Radio
developing team (and everybody contribute to it).

Dear Rakesh and George:

It will be great if we could put the document in Wiki and periodically
update it. I don’t know exactly how to do this, but I’m ready to do it
if
someone guided me.

The document source files (OpenOffice document and images) can be
downloaded
