USRP 4 Questions

Hello,

I managed to blow the smd fuse on my USRP. It seems to be a 1 Amp 603
fuse. Is there a certain one I need to buy? I would like to order one
from Mouser.

I got the enclosure recently. Where do I plug the fan in? Should the
fan exhaust the air from the enclosure?

73 Eric.

Hello,

If you’re talking about F501 (next to the 6V input), the BOM lists it as
a 3A 0603 part. Digikey part # P11359-CT-10 (though it doesn’t seem to
show up in the current digikey catalog).

Yes, it is a 3A part which was discontinued. Any 3-4A fuse would be
fine. In a pinch, you can just short it if you are willing to risk no
protection.

It’s under P11359CT-ND, but it shows out of stock right now.

Part number P13572CT-ND is an equivalent part from Panasonic-ECG:

Wrong way to link and wrong part anyway (it’s a 4A, not 3A.)

P11376CT-ND is the 3A equivalent:

In yet another sign of trouble for the big consumer electronics vendor,
Sony may stop developing its cell processor, which is at the heart of
the
PlayStation3. Why? Budget reasons, mostly. The company is exploring a
wide
range of possibilities, including out-sourcing chip production.
