User Activation Email won't send on test server

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but the email sends fine from my
local computer. The test server log says that the email was sent, but
it never arrives. I don’t get any errors (not in the log anyway).

I’m using gmail as my smtp server per the following instructions.

Any ideas?

Thanks

This is my ActionMailer Setup in environment.rb

require ‘smtp_tls’

ActionMailer::Base.raise_delivery_errors = true
ActionMailer::Base.perform_deliveries = true
ActionMailer::Base.delivery_method = :smtp

ActionMailer::Base.smtp_settings = {
:address => “smtp.gmail.com”,
:port => “587”,
:domain => “mydomain.com”,
:authentication => :plain,
:user_name => “[email protected]”,
:password => “mypassword”
}

note this setup:
:domain => “mydomain.com”,
:user_name => “[email protected]”,

Whit that you identify your google app, in the tutorial say @gmail.com

If you use your gmail acount, put this lines to fire the errors:
ActionMailer::Base.raise_delivery_errors = true
ActionMailer::Base.perform_deliveries = true
ActionMailer::Base.delivery_method = :smtp

and use the tutorial setup.-

Sweet! Your setup worked. The three lines I was missing were the
perform_deliveries, the delivery_method and the domain in the
settings.

Thanks!
