[UPDATE] RailsConf Europe is almost sold out!

Hi –

RailsConf Europe is almost sold out – registration is going to close
on Friday, September 1.

So if you still want to go, go to http://europe.railsconf.org, and if
there’s still room you can register.

See you in London!

Fantastic news… well for those of us with tickets

the risk.

Why do you think it’s a risk ?

A.

Why do you think it’s a risk ?

Just that it is the first time holding a conference for an emerging
technology in a small island off mainland Europe with 1/10th the
population of the US and large overheads in central London

As the English newspaper headline said in WWII:

“Fog in English Channel: Continent Cut Off”

Pedantic detail:

UK population 60 M, US population 250 M (or thereabouts). 24%.

But it’s not part of Europe, I agree :-).

Paul

UK population 60 M, US population 250 M (or thereabouts). 24%.

Actually it is approx. 299,093,237 but I would include Canada’s
32,251,238 and make it 18%. BTW a pedant should really never use the
word thereabouts

We’re scheduled to hit 300M some time in October…hurrah?

It’s the fastest way I know to get someone to check the numbers for
me :-).

I wouldn’t. That would be an incorrect population statement to include
Canada’s population.
The two populations are quite different, I assure you.
