Hello all,
I’m having trouble getting the UNSUBSCRIBE message to work.
I’ve sent several emails with only the word UNSCUBSCRIBE in the body.
But, it doesn’t seem to work.
I want to wait until I have a little more experience before I
re-subscribe
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ed B

What address did you send the E-mail to?
-
Did you get a response back by E-mail? If so, what was the content of
the response?
-
What list or forum are you trying to unsubscribe from? This one is
visible via multiple gateways
-
If it was the ruby-talk mailing list, did you try
Mailing Lists ?
(By the way, the link to “the manual way” at the bottom of that page is
broken. I believe it should link to
http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/community/mailing-lists/manual-instructions/
- is there anyone here who can fix this?)
Regards,
Brian.
I could be wrong in this case, but when I have ever unsubscribed to
various mailing lists or other services, the word at the least,
needs to be in the message TITLE, as well as / or in the BODY.

If your e-mail client can use HTML, clicking here
mailto:[email protected]?body=unsubscribe should generate
the e-mail you need to unsubscribe.
Otherwise, you need to send an e-mail to:
[email protected]
with unsubscribe in the body.
