I’m a newbie in gnu radio. I started playing with it at the end of last
month.
I’m wondering if we could send out or receive IP/Ethernet packets (by
some user space applications), and then send them out or receive them
though wireless media with tun/tap drivers. I’m not sure how the
tun/tap drivers work, just run the tunnel.py script in the gnu radio
example directory. How does it work? capturing the user space packets
and sending them out by the usrp into the wireless media, to tunnel to
another tun/tap running usrp?
I’m wondering what can we do with wireless networking protocol design,
or protocol implementation/analysis in the MAC/network layer with the
help of gnu radio. Could you guys give me some suggestions about this?
