Hello there, my name is Jay. I wanted to introduce myself because I
figure I will be spending a lot of time here in the future as I just
decided to start learning Ruby with Michael H.'s online Rails
Tutorial. He suggested to go through the TryRuby course on CodeSchool.
The only parts I did not understand of the course were the exercises
involving the ‘popup’ library because I do not receive popups. I went
through the course on Safari. Is there any way to fix this problem so
that I could view what is actually going on with the comics and the blog
in the course to see the web development power of Ruby? It seems that I
am missing an integral part of what the course is trying to show in
Ruby’s capabilities and I would like to witness it. Thanks so much for
your advice in advance.
Yeah, I have been seeing a lot of bug reports regarding try ruby.
It makes me very sad.
Sad enough that after the kickstarter and execution on the kickstarter
that
I will talk to code school about taking it back.
I still own the .org. You aren’t doing anything wrong. Try ruby is just
broken.
Respectfully,
Andrew McElroy
Tryruby.org domain owner.
I should clarify the kickstarter I am launching in less than 24 hours
from
now has nothing to do with try ruby.
Try Ruby is on my radar after the project I am launching gets done.

Every browser I use that has a pop-up blocker built in also has the
capability to whitelist certain sites. Maybe take a look in yours to see
if this exists, and whitelist code school.
