gem install tmpdir_block
DESCRIPTION
extends ruby’s built-in Dir.tmpdir to accept a block. iff a block is
given
a tmp directory will be created an the calling process chdir’d into it
before the block is called. the tmpdirs are automatically cleaned up
unless
a ‘turd’ option is given.
USAGE
require ‘tmpdir_block’
Dir.tmpdir do
puts ‘this code is called in a freshly created tmpdir…’
p Dir.pwd
end
