The Gateway Showing Signs of Life

I’m sure all you mailing list regulars noticed the threads coming
through this morning that were never started here. Those were from
the newsgroup. We had the gateway half restored this morning.

Sadly, we were not able to restore the other half yet, so we’ve shut
it back down.

Our last hurdle is finding a newsgroup the code can post from. We
have two people looking into options for this and will report back
when we know more…

Subscriptions to Usenet services can be found from $5 to $15/month.
Most are binary oriented; but, many offer discussion groups. Perhaps a
collection could be taken up?
