Terminal for Windows XP

So I was wanting to know if there was a program I can use like
termianl on Linux or something for Windows XP I do not like the
Command Prompt…

I can not figure out how to edit my apps in the command prompt either
please post a link to a guide or something for me I have been looking
for more help on editing and stuff but no luck so far.

You can download and install emacs and I think there is also a version
of vi available for windows. I use emacs for editing on my windows
system.

What do you mean by edit the app in command prompt? Normally one
would use an editor for that. I use jEdit.

The best solution for the command prompt question is to move to Linux
of course. Ubuntu for example is good for Rails development, much
better than Windows.
