SVN Slow

Group,

The rails subversion was very slow yesterday. I was hoping it was just
me,
but technoweenie pointed out it was slow for him, as well as others. It
seems to be the same today. Not only does it take forever, it also
breaks in
general, for example:

svn: REPORT request failed on ‘/svn/rails/!svn/vcc/default’
svn: REPORT of ‘/svn/rails/!svn/vcc/default’: Could not read chunk size:
connection was closed by server. (http://dev.rubyonrails.org)

It continues to checkout the source, but most basic commands fail, such
as
the generators.

  1. Anyone else getting this as well?
  2. How should I go abouts getting edge?
  3. Anyone know how much bandwidth running an SVN mirror would take? If
    it’s
not much, I’d be more than willing to contribute back to the community
    that
has given me so much by setting up a server.

Thanks.

There was a major attack on the root DNS servers yesterday. I suspect
it
continues.

As reported on cnn.com

That sucks. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
