"sudo: addgroup: command not found"

Hi,

When I follow the steps listed on
http://gnuradio.org/trac/wiki/UdevConfig” to configure non-root access
to the USRP.

The first step is: Define a group named usrp.
$ sudo addgroup usrp

but terminal returns “sudo: addgroup: command not found”

Does anyone meet the same problem, and any suggestion to fix it?

Thanks.

Alessandro

Can you tell us which system you are using?

Some systems have addgroup, some have groupadd. They work slightly
different, but all in all do the same. For details of usage “–help” as
option should give you an idea. Use man if you need more
information.
