Static File Cache

Hi,

I have currently installed nginx version 0.6.39. I have been trying to
find more information regarding static file caching. Is file caching not
available for the version of nginx I have?

I am using nginx to serve static files and apache to serve the dynamic
page server.

You need a much newer version, at least something from 0.7 series. But
you might as well go all the way to 0.8 as it has been declared
stable.
