Speakers Needed: RubyNation Conference Jun 12-13, Washington DC

The RubyNation conference organizers are pleased to announce our
conference will happen on June 12-13 this year, in Reston, Virginia
(which is nearby Washington, DC). The event will feature lots of high
quality presentations from a host of excellent speakers including
David A. Black, Bruce Tate, Chad F., Hal F. and Russ Olsen so
far. So mark off the dates, and keep an eye on rubynation.org for
more details to follow.

As for the rest of the conference content, maybe you could help us
out? Do you want to speak at the RubyNation 2009? We’d love to have
you! Speaker submissions are due by 11:59pm EST on March 21, 2009.

Presentations should focus on helping attendees by teaching from your
experiences. The audience is primarily practicing rubyists (of all
levels!), so talks should lean towards the technical side. All Ruby
related topics will be considered and speakers will receive free
admission to the conference. Each presentation should be 45 minutes
long. Submit your proposal to ‘proposals at rubynation.org’ with the
following information:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • A brief speaker bio, including photo (optional)
  • Presentation title
  • Abstract (<500 words)
  • Target audience (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

You need to get your proposal to us by March 21st and we will let you
know on or before April 10th if your proposal has been accepted.

We look forward to seeing you at RubyNation!
