Hi,
I am making a dummy social networking website for my school project.
Can anyone guide me on as to how to manage a social network on RoR?

I want to do following things:

  1. Make public profiles
  2. Send friend request.
  3. Accept/ decline friend requests.
  4. Notify people of changes in the profiles of their friends.

Here I need help particularly for managing one’s network of friends
and would really appreciate if someone can help me on point no. 2, 3
and 4.

the Apress social networking on rails book by Bradburn is also quite
good
