Sinatra Error - `read ': Invalid argument .. (Errno::EINVAL)

I’m hoping someone can help me here. I am a complete newbie to Ruby and
Sinatra and cannot find any information related to this problem
anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ruby version=1.9.2
I also have ruby 1.8.5 installed in a different folder. But ruby -v
gives 1.9.2.

While following the Sinatra tutorial on

following error:
