I’m using Ruby 1.9.3 for programming.
I need to update Rails 3.2.6 to 4.x and to learn about this framework,
which kind of version is comfortable with Ruby 1.9.3?

Why? Current is 2.1.x., and 1.9.3 will EOL soon (February 2015).

I think it is easier to 4.0.6 at first moment.
