Server restart to pick up changes

Hi,

I am working in development mode; however, I have to restart the
webbrick server in order to pick up any changes. (Even for a simple
change in views)

Do anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thank you very much

Victor

I think, you should check your config\environments\development.rb file.
It should contain:
config.cache_classes = false

This is my development.rb

config.cache_classes = false

Log error messages when you accidentally call methods on nil.

config.whiny_nils = true

Enable the breakpoint server that script/breakpointer connects to

config.breakpoint_server = true

Show full error reports and disable caching

config.action_controller.consider_all_requests_local = true
config.action_controller.perform_caching = false
config.action_view.cache_template_extensions = false
config.action_view.debug_rjs = true

Don’t care if the mailer can’t send

config.action_mailer.raise_delivery_errors = false

Thank you Sergey,

config.cache_classes = false is already set in development.rb, but I
still have to restart the server to pick up the changes.
