This position is for guy who value quality over speed. You will be responsible for extending a backend application as well as optimizing a current code base and taking over architectural decisions. You will work with state of the art technologies (Rails 5 / Vue.js / AWS) & 100% test-driven without manual QA. You will have an opportunity to grow organically into a leadership position.
Requirements:
You are an experience backend engineer looking for a new challenge and have the following to offer:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, 3+ years experience with ruby on rails
- university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- profound understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases
- understanding of SOLID, KISS and clean code
- deep understanding of TDD, BDD and how to use it to archive CD
Nice to have:
- experience with cloud computing (AWS, Beanstalk, Lambda etc.)
- experience with front-end technologies (ES6, Vue/Vuex/Jasmine)
- knowledge of container tools (docker, kubernetes etc)
