(Senior) Ruby Developer (m/f) in Berlin

This time we are looking for a (Senior) Ruby Developer (m/f)

I´m working for a successful e-commerce company based in Berlin, which
offers a platform which is very helpful for people who want to sell
stuff. As a Ruby developer I´m building nice thinks that look awesome,
are better to use and make people love using it.

What you truly do:

• Together with your team you will help building new features and
products for the platform
• To achieve this you will work with the latest technologies that are
available to produce a consistent user interface across different
devices and browsers – including responsive
• Help improve and develop new code within an agile and fast paced work
environment
• Maintain the existing codebase
• Build widgets with JavaScript that make the platform more interesting
for visitors
• You are a part of a very collaborative environment that makes it easy
to learn a lot from each other
• You work closely with the UI/Design and the product management teams
to get the best experience
• You ensure well tested and performant code that works across
different browsers and devices

Your Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years professional experience in software development.
Working on different e-commerce projects with high traffic would be a
plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Ruby and at least one other language like
Java, C/C++, Scala
• You are passionate about software development and you contribute to
open source projects
• Production experience with Ruby
• You have a degree in computer science or equivalent industry
knowledge – a plus
