Send Keystrokes Over USB to External Computer

Is it possible to write a simple application in Ruby that can send
keystrokes to an external computer via USB (or any other physical
connection) and have the external computer recognize the input as if it
were from a keyboard?

I’m not sure about USB. If you have some sort of network connection
between the two you (and are on windows), then au (+ drb) might help.

Of course, if you’re on windows with a network connection, you could
just use synergy, anyway :slight_smile:
