Hi there,
I have rails 1.2.3 installed but do not have the scaffold_resource
generator, should this be installed by default???
this is all I have:
Installed Generators
Builtin: controller, integration_test, mailer, migration, model,
observer,
plugin, resource, scaffold, session_migration, web_service

I did a gem update
and my current rails version is rails-1.2.3.6747
this does not have scaffold_resource but rails 1.2.3 does
any clues???

Run ‘script/generate scaffold’ and take a look at the help text. The old
scaffold generator is going
away and the default behavior of scaffold will be to generate the
resource stuff. Didn’t think that
was going to happen until rails 2.0 but maybe the change has already
been made.
