Call for proposals RubyConf Uruguay
We are glad to invite you to present your proposal for a talk in
RubyConf Uruguay.
This is the second year in a row of the main Ruby and agile
technologies conference in Uruguay, as the closing event of the
RubySur Tour, the most important cycle of conferences in Latin
America.
This year we are focusing in presentations oriented at beginners of
Ruby and similar technologies such as: JRuby, Ruby on Rails, Git,
automated testing, agile methodologies (SCRUM), JavaSCript and NoSQL
among others. We will also have space for talks on more advanced
topics.
We are very interested in inspiring talks, that show why ruby and its
surrounding ecosystem are a better alternative to other technologies.
How to present a proposal
You must complete the following form Call for Proposals – RubyConf Uruguay 2011
You have time until Thursday 1st. September. We will let you know if
your proposal was accepted or not by the 7th.
Format of the talk
Every talk should last around 20 minutes, with 5 extra minutes for
questions. Speakers will have to leave their material at the disposal
of the attendees of the conference.
