Ruby summer of code?

Anybody know who I should talk to to “nudge” them toward doing another
ruby summer of code this year?

I’m not sure, but I’d be interested in helping getting this going.

+1 to get this going… though more than likely i’ll be participating
as a
coder and not as a sponsor… but i would love to help out with
whatever,
i need to start doing more than i have been.

Ok email me or reply to this if anybody out there’d be interested in
contributing/sponsoring. If there’s enough people then I’ll start up a
donation pool and uservoice forum where people can submit ideas and
vote for them et al.
If there’s enough response let’s do it. There apparently
“will” be a more official one in 2013.
Cheers!

Unless anybody out there wants to just do it regardless of how much
funding we end up getting, we could do that too. There apparently
“will” be a more official one in 2013.

I would be interested in contributing but maybe you can tell me what do
you have in mind?

Thanks,

Current thought would be to have something like a uservoice instance
setup, people can put ideas there (with bids for how much time/money
it would take them) then community members could vote on the ideas and
select the best ones.
