This must be an April Fool’s joke :-). If not, you may find plenty to
play with (and learn from) at http://rubyforge.org
Also, get yourself a copy of “Programming Ruby” book, a.k.a. Pickaxe. It
has very good examples with detailed run through all of them.

has a great ruby tutorial you can play with - written from within a
web version of the interactive ruby interpreter itself!
Yes, even the name of the man strikes fear into the hearts of those
who would yearn for a lovely, simple life, where nothing is ever
difficult. 
You should definitely check that out first if you haven’t already.
