We are looking for a Full-Stack Senior Ruby developer responsible for
building and supporting our many Ruby applications. Your primary
responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to
coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the
infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving,
sophisticated design, and building quality products is essential. Our
ideal candidate should be opinionated and passionate about the software
they build and enjoy collaboration. Candidates should have experience
working with Ruby frameworks other than Rails and follow a test-driven
development approach. Previous experience working together with a
remote
team is a plus.
Skills & Requirements
- +5 years of experience building Ruby/Rails/Sinatra web applications
- 80% of the work
- Experience with Javascript/jQuery - 20% of the work
- Experience doing BDD/TDD
- Experience working with a scrum like approach
- Enjoy working in a startup environment
- Proven record of building scalable web applications
- Good communication skills; demonstrated success on a remote team
- 3 or more years of experience with Git
You must have a good understanding of English (spoken and written)
