Our client is a “green technology” company that is launching their
flagship web platform for monitoring and visualization of customers’
microinverter systems.
Responsibilities
*Design and develop new features based on latest technologies (Flex,
AJAX, Ruby on Rails, etc.)
*Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement.
*Refactor and improve existing code bases for reusability and
scalability.
*Design new systems to meet Marketing and Engineering requirements.
*Use test-driven development (TDD) to maintain and improve code
quality.
Requirements:
*Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and/or high volume
transactional systems.
*Significant experience building Web Applications.
*Equally comfortable building out new systems or improving weaknesses
in existing systems.
*Good written and verbal communication.
*Experience with Ruby on Rails, agile practices and TDD desired.
*Familiarity with HTML/CSS/XML/JSON
*Experience with GIT or Subversion
