Are there other rubygem mirrors out there besides gemcutter? Amazon S3
is blocked at my place of employment.
I can work around by downloading the gems manually from Rubyforge, but
that is not likely to last very long as new gems appear at Gemcutter.
There is one hosted on gem.tron.name, but that was taken down. If
there anywhere else I can use as a repo, that would help me out a lot.
Thanks!

This topic was raised in Gemcutter own group:

Please ask there to change from S3 standard bucket to a gemcutter
CNAME or CDN to avoid the issue you’re experiencing.
That is, unless your environment is block Amazon IPs.
I am going to try to work around and setup my own mirror and then maybe
provide it to other people as a service (with some donations to defrag
the costs).
Currently trying to download the gems. Very slow.
