Senior Rails Engineer

Responsibilities:
Passionate about Ruby and Rails, code quality, and conventions
Put yourself in the shoes of our users and understand their needs
Communicate with developers of different personality types
Converse with nontechnical but intelligent people about technical
concepts
Thoroughly test code to prevent regressions and ensure robustness
Requirements:
Ruby on Rails 3
Ability and desire to learn, teach, demonstrate, and innovate
Preferred Experience:
Scaling and streamlining Rails applications
RESTful web services
Caching and precomputing large relational database queries
Non-relational databases
Developing web applications using Amazon Web Services
Networking and Web Application security and penetration testing
Contribution to new and existing open source projects
Buzzwords to Know:
RoR3, Agile, Arel, MySQL, NoSQL, JSON, XP, AWS, SAAS
