I found a reference at:

but this documentation is just a API function listing
without documentation and without tutorial …

Q: does I miss something ?

I rarely use the Doxygen documentation. The most helpful places I refer
to are:

  1. The chapter on extensions in the pick-axe as linked to above
  2. The readme.ext file bundled with MRI.
