Is there a way to implement automatic gain control with USRP2? I want
to maintain a constant average RF power. I was using the AGC2 block
like this:
USRP source (RFX400) -> lowpass filter -> AGC2 -> output
It was working previously with USRP1 and a Flex400, and the output would
be a hump looking signal that followed the shape of the filter. the ave
power would be the same no matter what the input.
but now that im using USRP2 with the same RFX400, i cannot get reliable
results using AGC. If no signal is input, instead of the hump signal, i
get a bunch of random spikes on the spec analyzer. and it does not keep
ave power out for different inputs
