REST wsdl & Wavemaker

I’m currently investigating creating a Rails application that will offer
a set of services for consumption by Wavemaker (used to be ActiveGrid)
which is a front-end builder.

Wavemaker is supposed to be able to consume SOAP and REST services, but
the service import dialoge insists on a wsdl file in either case. I’ve
just moved to Rails 2.0.2 to learn about REST and I see that creating
wsdl for REST doesn’t seem to be possible.

Am I missing something or is there no way to generate wsdl for Wavemaker
for REST services?

Hi Jonathan,

While I haven’t used them you might be able to generate wsdl responses
in rails using the actionwebservice gem and/or the soap4r gem.
