Redmine: Unable to add new tasks

#1

Hello,

Iam getting the following error whem adding new task in redmine –

Internal error

An error occurred on the page you were trying to access.
If you continue to experience problems please contact your redMine
administrator for assistance.

I also find that the stuff to do plugin is broken. It seems it has not
been installed correctly. Will this be contributing to the error? .
Accessing it displays the same error as mentioned before.

Can i remove the stuff to do plugin installation and reinstall it all
over again. I have been through forums extensively regarding this. But
information regarding uninstall is less mentioned. Please advice. Thank
you.

Information regarding my infrastructure:

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)
Rails 2.2.2
redmine-0.8

Gokul

Hi,

To repair my broken stuff to do plugin, iam trying to upgrade the
database.

I have run the command – rake db:migrate_plugins to upgrade my
database. However it is yielding errors as mentioned below –

(in /home/cwleader/redmine-0.8/vendor/plugins/stuff_to_do_plugin)
rake aborted!
no such file to load – spec/rake/spectask
/home/cwleader/redmine-0.8/vendor/plugins/stuff_to_do_plugin/Rakefile:18
(See full trace by running task with --trace)

Please assist regarding this. Thank you.

Regards,
Gokul.

Hello,

I had fixed the issue with upgrading the database. However the error
still appears when trying to add new tasks. Also the error ( Internal
error

If you continue to experience problems please contact your redMine
administrator for assistance ) still appears when accessing stuff to do
plugin. Please advise.
