Redirect root

Hi all,

Can I redirect the root of my page to a contrroller/action? When I
type www.example.com/ I don’t want to see the Rails welcome screen but
want a redirect to a controller.

I found. map.index ‘’, :controller => ‘test’, :action => ‘index’ in an
applicaction but it doesn’t work for me.

You need to delete $RAILS_ROOT/public/index.html.
