This error is usually caused by the network connection dropping packets.

Are you directly connected to your PC? What kind of network card do you
have?

Jay mentioned in a previous email ubluntu 11.10, which is quite old by
now (13.04 is out). Perhaps there could be a network driver issue that
was resolved in a newer release.

I’m also getting that error about 50% of the time when running through a
switch. I checked the pcap output and when it fails, the host sends an
icmp port unreachable msg to the usrp.
