I just do this from the browser. I don’t mind having that info… On
some browsers it prints the date on there even. 
Print stylesheets
can do an awful lot, and if it’s an invoicing application, chances are
your users can just remove that info from their print settings (one
office I worked for did just that.)
That said, PDFs are nice too…
