I downloaded the code file from the book site, and was surprised to
learn that the recipe files are incomplete, that is to say, they don’t
run (after running the migration). View and layout files are missing,
for example.
I like to ‘sample’ the end-product of a recipe first, and if I like it,
then I ‘ask’ for the recipe, i.e., delve into it. I’m trying to avoid
spending time trying to get a recipe to work, only to discover in the
end that it is not what I am looking for.
Does anyone know where one can get complete and working versions of the
Rails Recipes recipes?
