Rails plugin for inviting people in your GMail, Yahoo, ... address book?

Hi,

Is there a plugin available that offers integration with your GMail,
Yahoo,
etc. address books, so a user can easily select e-mail addresses? I’ve
seen
similar functionality on Facebook and Twitter and hoping someone has
already
open sourced the code.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the link, that looks like what I need. If I can make a
generic
Rails plugin for the UI I’ll open source it.

The Google contacts data api will let you query a users contacts
without requiring the user to give their password away to the 3rd
party site. http://code.google.com/apis/contacts/ I haven’t used it
myself, I only heard about it on the rails envy podcast.
